I’ve been neglecting my writing for some time now. I started out with a bad case of writer’s block. More specifically, I couldn’t think about anything but a possible upheaval in our lives. At the time, I was not at liberty to discuss the details. In fact, I am still rather limited to disclose specifics on a public blog. Suffice it to say that I came very, very, very (three “very”s means EXTRA-VERY) close to no longer being an Oregonian.
After the decision to stay in the Pacific Northwest was made and all of the near-upheaval dust settled, I lost all excuses for not adding to the blog. I can only chalk it up to being out of the habit.
I did, however, continue to THINK about the blog. My family continued to say funny things and I would think, “I should put that on the blog.” I also took lots of photos throughout the summer of things that I thought about writing about.
Now, I’m pretty much just left with the pictures because my memory isn’t what it used to be and the humorous tidbits exit about as fast as they enter my neural system.
What was I talking about?
You’re still trying to figure out where we were going to move and why, huh? Okay, maybe not. It’s a secret anyway.
Now, even though deep-down you don’t really care, you probably feel like you really want to know merely because I didn’t tell you. Aren’t cliffhangers annoying?
